Our Goal
We are a 501 C3 non-profit since 2015, primarily volunteer based animal rescue in Rolla, ND. We do not have an actual shelter, we operate out of the rented building/house that serves as our rescue. Keith Benning, a Deputy Sheriff and Municipal Judge in the county is one of the founders of TMAR and serves as Shelter Manager. We service a 2000 square mile area, and rescue 70-100 animals each month. In 2020, we rescued 1,026 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. In 2019 we purchased land with the goal of building an animal shelter/sanctuary and attached youth center that will be the first of its kind in our area. Our goal is to offer resources for the surrounding communities such as low cost spay and neuter, vaccination clinics and a place to care for rescued animals in addition to providing jobs within the shelter. Once our shelter is built, our goal is to provide youth involvement programs, where kids can participate in the rescue and care of animals.
Donations goes directly toward the care of animals in addition to helping us save money to build a shelter.
